Midweek visit. One person. Probably 67-76% of tables were empty
Ordered the chicken burger £18 and cider £6.25.
Service charged added 12.5%.
Food was good, piping hot and took about 40 mins to arrive so nicely and freshly cooked. Crispy onions were missing from my main but not the end of the world.
Cider was flat but no issues swapping to glass of wine, and didn't charge extra. Pinot grigio very nice.
Pointed out a few typos in their allergens abbreviation list and the feedback was well received. Got a free pudding (so if not fixed when you come, point it out).
Would I eat here again? Yes, for sure. Would I leave a 12.5% tip if I hadn't already paid? Not sure.
Another group pointed out their meals arrived in dribs and drabs but their server didn't engage them or apologise really, even to say, "I'm sorry you felt that way."

The staff try their beat but are badly let down by their...

Plus, service can be a bit slow. But then, more than makes up for it as it is...
