Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Fareham

I love Costa coffee. I like to try all the seasonal drinks and I was keen to try the Ruby Hot chocolate with cream. My first surprise was the colour. It's pink, yes pink. Although I probably should have guessed it would have been different to the usual hot chocolate colour. There was a generous amount of cream, some chocolate sprinkles would have been nice though. The taste was ok, not chocolatey. It was more white chocolate I'd say. Nice enough and welcome on a cold day in January. The coffee shop itself is warm, cosy and clean. Great Costa, we’ll located. Ample parking, and rarely get too busy. Outside seating and toilets too. Staff are fantastic, friendly and even know the locals by name and there orders. Shows their attention and attitude… great to see. Stock levels tends to be a bit hit and Miss but that’s not there fault, but I’ve learned always to ask if you don’t see what you want … it might just be squirrelled away out back…. I've never yet found a Costa I didn't like, this one is in what at first sight seems a slightly oddball place, in the corner of a small out of town shopping estate. However, it is within walking distance of a major naval training base. Not at all a dumb location. Fully up to usual Costa standards, comfortable, but not too expensive, good coffee.
