The Black Cat Cove — Restaurant in Fermanagh and Omagh District

We went here last night as a family of 9. To say we were disappointed is a understatement. We ordered starters i order tge chicken wings with the blue cheese dip. Starters came no dip so i got up to ask waitress for it she said no problem ill get that now.. Then came back to table and said 'we dont have that its a miss print on the menu' i was no offered an alternative sauce. Starters finished the main took about 30mins to come. Me and my sister got the special the chicken dinner with potatoes and veg. My sister said have you tried your potatoes... They were freezing and i mean freezing. They chicken was covered in some type of herb. They veg was boiled to near mush. Waitress said sorry ill get it changed we both decided to have chips instead as how long we had already waited. I had most of the chicken ate before the chips arrived. It was that slow i went to the bar to order desserts for the kids. We also asked for bill as we had all had enough at this stage. We asked for bill 3 time in the space of half hr. I will never be back. Not 1p took off the bill and bill was £126. Very very...

Entrance is on street level with a small step and doors are manual.

Bridie and James are great hosts and always make us feel welcome. I’ve always found the bar staff to be polite and helpful.

Unfortunately I can't say the Best this time of this place .I know there were Staff off sick with Covid and it is getting difficult to replace but the Staff were slow and I was told that the Kitchen was Closed when I wanted to order a Dessert at 915pm ... I also think that although the food was good I really do think that the Menu " Could be Brought On A Bit More " it is a bit Plain in my Opinion nothing to Catch...
