My wife and I choose here for our 25th anniversary meal and we have to say it was one of the nicest meals we have ever had, we had booked a table over the fone and the staff called us to ask wat anniversary it was for us. On arrival there was a beautiful anniversary card and a candle on our table and we were made to feel at home and very welcome. The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and seemed to be the hub of the community. The menu was ideal and had plenty to choose from as well as the specials that we were informed about. We ordered the 10z steak with creamed potatoes and homemade chips, this also came with vegetables and gravy and the portion size was large. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out very well presented. The staff were so nice and checked if everything was OK. Walking past the window I noticed a portion of chips with what looked like chili beef on top sitting in the hot counter. Popped in and ordered 'Chips with Taco meat' large was £5, so went for that.
