I come here every day for either breakfast or lunch, it is an amazing venue with the best staff and service. The food is always fresh and chef always makes the food to my liking (I am very specific how I like it to look and be cooked) there is never any push back when asking for things. Nothing is too much for the staff. Josh does an excellent job running around getting involved with every aspect of managing the venue and the staff are so attentive. Charlotte is my favourite but all the guys are truly amazing. I just had breakfast today a dish I put together myself and chef nailed it. I could not have been happier. I even did a little happy dance on my seat while eating. This place is a must go when visiting Folkestone. It's an all-rounder, I come in on my own but never feel alone, sometimes I bring my dog as it's dog friendly and a venue for all types. The juices are a must try and also the steak and eggs chimichuri. I could not have scraped my place anymore if I tried. If you come on a sunny day the outside seating is perfect for relaxing in the sun with an audio book and beverage, it feels like when I go to Italy and dine out on the bistro tables, its my little slice of heaven close to home. Thank you L&B and all the gang at...

On Saturday 26 February Just before 4 pm me and my friend come in and ordered two beers and we have been told to seat at table they will bring to us our order. After 15 minutes waiting I came up to counter to ask nicely I am sorry but we don’t have a lot of time and did waiter forgot about our order so they said is on next ticket and asked do we want to order something more and I have answered no. We have been waiting another 10 minutes and nobody came up to our table at all then we left that place after 25 minutes waiting for nothing . That wasn’t even busy this time so I don’t understand really behaving waiter who working there. First time in my life I can see situation like that for order drinks you need to wait in queue together with orders for food and as I said that place was nearly empty maybe 2or 3 tables have been taken by customers. That’s very rude. I used to go that place many times but this time that was my last visit there definitely. The owner should look at his staff how they are operating his business because is horrible...

The place is open, clean and dog friendly so I was ready to love it especially when I heard the food was locally sourced, however I had an unlucky experience. I ordered a breakfast smoothy and avocado and poached eggs on toast. The waiter asked me to remind him of what my drink was straight away, which of course I didn't mind, but then I waited at least 30 minutes for my toast and when my partner said " is there a reason why toast is taking so long?" They brought toast and butter only and asked if that was what we wanted... I don't even think that was an option in the menu.

I had to remind them of my order again and was told there were no eggs. Surprising for a breakfast place. Don't get me wrong my boyfriend has run a restaurant before I know the pressures and how hard it is so we remained cordial and they offered us salmon on toast instead, this after 40 minutes of waiting... The food was good enough but unfortunately the experience did not feel hospitable and the staff just don't communicate... It wasn't busy either. I don't think we...

Update: it's amazing how quickly a place can go downhill. I had breakfast here and it really wasn't up to the previous experience. For example, there is no longer any loose leaf tea, breakfast tea is a tea bag nowadays. Also, the whole plate of food was tepid at most, really not that nice. I'm not too sure because it wasn't hot but I think they've changed the supplier for the sausages too as these too weren't that good. All in all it was disappointing and expensive for what it was. I'm going to look elsewhere from now on. This is the second time I've been here for breakfast and it was as good as the first. The service was friendly and the food good. Coffee is good too. For what you get at breakfast and considering the quality, the price is good. The sausages for example, are nice quality and not cheap ones. It's good value for money. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back (when it's not lockdown)!

Chilled atmosphere, solid food and friendly service. I ordered the Buddha Bowl and it was good: crispy and warm beetroot bhajis, smooth chili hummus, edamame and grilled pak choi. A pity, that the roasted red peppers and the tomato chutney were missing. They would have giving the sweetness and tanginess the dish lacked. The restaurant interior is chic yet cozy and inviting. The dark warm wood tones are pair with black and pops of vibrant colors. The plants that are located throughout the restaurant make it feel homey. The guest take a menu from the bar, seat themselves wherever they like and order at the bar. The food and drinks are delivered to the table. The prices are fair for the fresh, good quality ingredients, and the service was friendly.

If I could pick this place up and transport it wherever I went. Then I would. The quality of food is excellent, attentive service and great value for money. Large selection of veggie and vegan dishes. - Update as of August 2023. We came back here a few weeks ago given our excellent experience the first time. It was such a shame that we left let down. The self service obviously does have its issues as the front of house staff take no responsibility for lateness of food (no one asked to check on our order). We waited about 45 mins for our salads and we were close to walking out. The food was annoyingly good and up to its usual standard but we did leave with a bit of a bitter taste in our mouths.
