The Lamproom Cafe — Restaurant in Forest of Dean

Lovely little cafe with a great selection. I had a cheese sandwich and whatever chutney was put on it was INCREDIBLE! Lovely and clean. Bead frames for the kids to play with. There is also chess/draughts and snakes & ladders boards painted on the table which was quirky but would be better if the pieces were provided. Reduced rating by 1 star just because the toilets are not the cleanest and are also incredibly small which was difficult to navigate...

Top Mark's for working under pressure, the espresso coffee machine decided to have a moment of not wishing to work along with no boiling water for tea, but service continued with a smile... great Rocky Road and Blueberry Shortcake saved the day along with a good range of sandwiches and pasties, only complaint being the sausage rolls being on the small side. Great play area for children outside just far enough away to maintain relaxed...
