My husband and I had dinner here on 15/10/25.

Starters: Spicy meatballs Homemade fishcakes

Mains Pizza romana Dolcelatte chicken

Deserts Tiramisu Lemon Eaton mess

Drinks Pornstar martini Expresso martini

The meatballs were tender and juicy. The sauce was flavourful without being too spicy. It had a creamy texture and tasted fresh and delicious. The bread that came with it had an amazing texture and was delicious. The fishcakes were amazing. Clearly home made, perfectly seasoned and delicious wirh a beautiful texture. I always thought I didn't like fishcakes. Apparently I just never had good ones. Both starters were big enough to be mains.

The romana pizza was delicious, ingredients clearly fresh and very tasty. Not the best pizza I ever had but certainly a good one. The dolcelatte chicken was delicious. The sauce was creamy and had perfectly seasoned. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. The chips were thick cut with a crispy outside and fluffy middle. Some of the best chips I have ever had.

The Eaton mess was lovely, massive portions of ice-cream with perfectly crispy meringue pieces, a mountain of cream and topped with a zingy lemon sauce.

The tiramisu was heaven on a wooden board. Creamy, delicious, intense, chocolate. Words escape me for how good this was.

We had a pornstar martini and an expresso martini. The drinks was perfectly balanced and generous sizes. Simple, elegant, beautiful.

We went in without a reservation dressed in hoodies and trainers since this was not a planned meal and yet we were still greeted warmly, with enthusiasm and seated quickly despite it being a little busy. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy with a family feel.

The service was impeccable. We were served by multiple people, everyone equaly as respecful, friendly, enthusiastic and accommodating. Nobody hovered over us so we never felt rushed. We were left to enjoy our meals without having to wait too long for our plates to be clearned and the next course to be served. Accompaniments were offered when appropriate without any upselling or preassure.

The prices were decent especially considering the quality and quantity of the food and drinks. We paid £78.20 before tip. I would recommend everyone try this restaurant.

Honestly everything was impressive from greeting to leaving and although they are quite far from us and we were only in the area for an appointment, I plan on going back...

Having visited this restaurant many many times since it opened and loved it my visit today for Sunday lunch was really disappointing due to a female member of staff who came to take out order, we ordered exactly the same as last Sunday a beef dinner and a chicken dinner with no mash her attitude was it’s either no veg or veg I said I’m a regular and don’t eat mash as I’m allergic to butter which I can smell as soon as my plate is put down and makes me feel sick I can’t even open a tub of butter or I’m sick and she repeated it’s veg or no veg with such an attitude and left saying she would ask her manager. Well she never came back with a reply and the waitress the manager and the bar maid stood laughing and looking over at myself, the male waiter brought our food and low and behold there was mash on my plate which when I looked over at them they were laughing again. I didn’t eat much and refused a desert which we would normally have and my friend would have another glass of wine, she then plonked our bill on the table without us asking for it so we paid and left without leaving the usual £5-£10 tip and we won’t be back. We did comment last week that it wasn’t busy as normal and the same today it’s just a shame a young miserable waitress spoils a local restaurant which I’ve spent a lot of money in gets away with bad service, really disappointing and I will be telling everyone and I...

Food - pizza was good garlic bread with cheese was very greasy and un eatable completely wrong pasta dish given asked for a garlic sauce on order wasn't included

Customer service - What a joke this place has become honestly used to love it here and went and ordered alot with being local but on this occasion phoned in for collection was told my collection slot was 6pm arrived at 6pm was greeted by some gentleman told him my name for collection then disappeared no time given how long it was going to be , then staff were arguing amongst themselves which was quite fun when waiting for entertainment purposes 🤣 waited around 20 mins no sign of food , ended up just going back to the car was going to just completely leave the order as it took so long but decided to call and see what they would say , they told us the order was ready so then went back into the restaurant to be then told they had to go upstairs and collect the card machine ... which meant a further 10 min wait would think a restaurant would have more than one card machine but nevermind

All said won't be going back and if I was you I would look into getting some...
