Great little place about the size of my living room in a village where pubs are not permitted! Damn those pesky Quakers!! My beer tastes are more crafty than 'real ale' but there is always something I'm happy with. When there's music on the place gets very busy but not in a bad way- great atmosphere! I'm very pleased it's there and long may...

Great little gem of a place! Good watering hole after a walk on the stunning Derwent Walk. Not all beers were available on the day we visited but the lovely bar maid Amy explained they'd run out of a couple due to a recent Jazz festival being held there. We will definitely be back to sample some more of their delights and maybe catch some...

Great Micropub with an excellent selection of real ales, craft beers, craft lager and ciders with most being sourced from local microbreweries. Also a good selection of wines and spirits.
