I visited Roses Pantry this morning to try some of their cakes and scones. I was there around 9 O’click the owner was sat on a table , no one else there so wasn’t sure if they were open . so I opened the door slightly and asked are you open ? To which she responded no . I then asked what time do you open she said 10 , I was looking forward to trying their food so I won’t lie I felt disappointed ,I left home with no breakfast 😂. Anyway ,there was a Nisa shop just in front of them so I thought I will go get something to eat from there , so I went and couldn’t find anything to satisfy my appetite especially after having very different expectations. . So I left NiSa with some ibuprofen and a cheese and onion pie 🥲, and Roses pantry was open and , Lisa as people called her , was serving people and it was only 9.15 or something like that . So I stepped in , she served a person in front of me and then came my turn , Lisa didn’t seem happy serving me, she was really struggling with my English as poor Lisa seems not to understand a word I said .today I learned from Lisa that cherry scones are not fruit scones . Everyday you learn something new 💚💚💚
I can’t think of any reason a business owner will pretend they’re closed to avoid serving a person, who they never met or know anything about except what their face and accent look like ? Can anyone guess?
I’m not sure what people endured in their life to make them have this hate for someone they don’t even know .
Thanks Lisa for your special service 😊💚
I gave the atmosphere 3 as there was a gorgeous little girl with her dad in front of on the line , she had the most beautiful smile , so I can’t feel unwelcome if I received such a smile...

Read moreVisited a while back. Service was atrocious. The lady behind the counter got clearly irritated when I asked about milk alternatives and was very rude. Coffee was average. She then decided it was closing time but instead of politely giving us a warning of this she turned the lights off, put her key in the door and stared at us until we left. This place is overpriced and rude.
Rose, if it isnt you with the ginger hair who served me, I suggest you get some new staff with common courtesy.
They also take the biscuit with paper rounds, telling multiple kids they can all have the same position when they only...
