A couple of issues.

We ordered a meal for collection. The menu on the website says 10% off collections.

When I went to collect they said that:

The price was £4 more than what the menu prices say.

That the 10% off on collections deal had finished in December.

So from the off I'm £6.90 down. At that point I was thinking ok.. places change their menus all the time due to inflation etc.

So then I asked for the up to date menu for future reference so I don't get caught out again - to which I got the reply "it's on the website".

The menu on the website is the one I was looking at initially.. So have I just been robbed of the extra £6.90 or are they lying about the menu?

My curry was ok, but it was half a portion and still left me hungry.

My wife had a prawn massala which was ok, however there were only 4 prawns in her curry and they tasted what I can only describe as 'perfumey'. Her portion was also small so she was left hungry too.

Please update your menus because if it was an honest representation of your prices especially with the collection deal I would have gone elsewhere. Also, please increase your portion sizes.. there just wasn't enough.

I'm not willing to pay a premium like this for a mediocre curry again, especially until I know exactly what I'm spending.

Booked a table at 7.45. No tables available... made us wait for 2 rounds of drinks at the bar (around 40 mins) costing a further £44 to our evening when we just wanted some food. Sat down and waited a further hour for food. Food was nice but service was shocking went to the pub attached to get drinks myself because I was fed up of waiting to be served.

Complained to the manager about the times he took £5 off the bill. What a joke...

Absolutely ridiculous and wouldn't go back.

Partner has a bad stomach this morning too.

My partner was not the man you were referring to. We have been there a few times but every time I've been it's gotten worse!!!

Thanks for the advice to drink water instead of 2 rounds of drinks because of the ridiculous wait. Very helpful.

How about don't overbook your restaurant and run it better?! Greedy comes to mind.

Won't be back (mainly because you are so rude and sarcastic)... What a way to deal with a complaint. I also laughed about the wait and booking earlier because in all honesty I thought you would have dealt with it at the time but here we are... and that was before my ACTUAL partner 3 days of a bad stomach!!

Booked early for 6pm as just meeting a friend for a quick bite to eat well we thought it would be quick. Had to wait for a menu and then one came to share between us...never had that happen anywhere before... 20 mins I was sat there with no drink or poppadoms etc which was frustrating, managed to get a drink and poppadoms and chutney tray finally which were nice but then in total 1.5 hours later we finally got our mains after asking when they would come out as no one came near our table for a very long time. I had chicken tikka masala, it was unrecognisable as a curry as in tasted of tomato puree mainly not any coconut and spices, Instead of rice it would of been better served with spaghetti. I ordered a chicken tikka buhna for my other half to take home with me.....Got home to find plain chicken not tikka!!! But the bhuna sauce I tried was nice. Waiters were friendly and apologised for the delays but there was no offer for a drink on the house etc. We didn't overly complain as we are fairly chilled out and also were just grateful to eat something even though the bill came to just under £70.... I will not be returning or recommending. Disappointing with lots of cock ups...
