I did my shopping in sainsburys and decided to have a coffee. This place is the old cafe that was joined onto the shop. Well..... it was deserted, I was the only person in there.The staff were as happy as a wet weekend, and hardly spoke to me. I got my coffee and sat down,wondering which seat to pick,as there were so many.The coffee,an amaricano, was awful.too strong and very bitter.I left it and went home. On thinking about it, I can remember going into the original sainsburys cafe and enjoying a lovey English breakfast and a nice cuppa tea.At a very reasonable price. Now ,all you can get is coffee and tea.I have to say sainsburys, you need to bring back the cafe and look after your shoppers. This just won't do. It's terrible, and I think being empty says it all really.We could do with a petition on the customer services desk to...
Read moreLovely friendly hardworking staff, clean and tidy space but as with so many cafes, it echoes so badly you can hear everything everyone says and the coffee machine (a necessity) drowns out conversation when used. Hard floors, rounded plaster surfaces and practically zero soft furnishings means it sounds more like an airport terminal than somewhere to catch up with friends
Please please please Starbucks, soften up some surfaces to make it less loud and echoey. You have shop fitters and designers for this...

First time I seemed to have to convince the server that blonde roast was even a thing despite being on the advertising board behind them, and neither time have the drinks been made all that well. Shame, as it could be a really convenient location for certain points.
The space has been made quite open and airy, but does have a bit of a feel of a service station...
