I had a lovely Mocha Coffee & Bacon, Sausage & Mushroom Breakfast Bap here this morning. Met my friend for a coffee and chat. Friendly and helpful staff, free parking, breakfasts, lunches, cakes, pastries. Nice interior - so much pleasanter than the soulless coffee chains. Meeting room/area upstairs. Bought a delicious looking, still warm locally baked sourdough loaf before leaving too. I like the wall art too.

This is my local coffee shop and I love coming here. The cakes and savouries are always SO tasty and always fresh, with such a huge variety. Staff are so lovely and the coffee is of a great standard (and I’m a coffee snob). Highchair available for my little one, and changing facilities upstairs in the loo. Can’t fault them! Also bought their honey today and it delicious! Just wish it was open on Mondays too 😅🥰

I have family that live in the area and we make a point to come here every time we come to visit. My wife and I love this little cafe. The atmosphere is perfect. The staff are lovely. I think the decor is great. The coffee blend is smooth, so I tend to get an extra shot. There is a nice selection of brunch foods and cakes etc.

Me and my kids ( daughter 4 y old and baby 3,5minths old) visited this little lovely coffee shop. Great rustic decor and delish food ( we had avocado bagels with coffee and hot chocolate) Just after we finished food my nightmare started as my daughter (4 y old) needed to go to the toilet which was upstairs. I had to leave pushchair and all my belongings downstairs as had to carry baby with us upstairs. Stairs had metal bits on the edges which I assumed supposed to prevent falling over. They were quite sticking out and made me (with my baby in my arms) and my daughter trip over. Luckily we were holding to the rail. Totally not the place for mums with babies or young kids unfortunately. Staff were very nice though! My 3 stars are not rating the food, food was very tasty! Just overall personal experience as mum, sadly we will...

A good quality and much needed café.

The place is usually busy at all times of the day and deserves to be. The quality of the cakes and sandwiches is very high. This is reflected in the prices which are fair for what you get.

I’ve been twice and both times had the iced custard cake with the cherry on top; firm without being solid, sweet but not sickly. And it’s a big cake.

The tea comes in a pot and stretches to two cups.

Service is always friendly and dogs are welcome with treats for them on the counter.

Good for maybe an occasional or monthly visit. Drinks and cakes can be bought to go too.

Parking can be a problem now that the parade has more shops. However walking to and from here might help work off the...

Owner and staff seem really friendly and it's a nice place to be in. However for somewhere that is called a "coffee house", the coffee was extremely poor. They are using good quality beans, but the grind was completely wrong so the coffee was under extracted. I watched the tamp and that was incorrect (no where near enough pressure, and uneven) so you didn't get a thorough/even extraction through the filter. Also the milk sounded like it was being abused when steamed, plus it was over steamed giving a slightly burnt, badly textured flat white. It basically tasted quite "watery". I would suggest some proper staff training in coffee as this place has the potential to be excellent. Do not let untrained staff on...
