WON'T be going here again. I use an epi pen, and am dangerously allergic to all types of nut, but peanut and peanut oil is a bad one for me. Thought we would try them tonight, phoned up and asked before any conversation started if any of their food was cooked in any type of nut oil. Lady said no nuts. Went ahead and placed order and again asked that food was nut free and not cooked in nut oil, again told no nuts. Food turns up, and to my horror food cooked in what smelt like nut oil. Phoned back and was told it had been cooked in peanut oil, and they appeared to find it funny. Disgusted at their lack of concern, and neglect at just how dangerous nut allergies are. I would say that this is fhe best Chinese taekeaway in Gosport. I have NOT tried them all.... But i have tried many, and Jumbos food is consistently excellent. I always collect my food, but you may find they put a delivery time of 1.5 hours on your delivery order. They did they only time I got delivery.... And they Do mean it. So just plan accordingly. Its a good sign anyway, that that are actually cooking real good and not just warming things up! I go there every Tuesday, and have done for over 6 months, and each meal had been excellent. This place is normally great perfect food fresh tasty ingredients but tonight I'm not sure what's gone wrong but I didint even get my order after being told on the phone waiting time for delivery could be up to 1 and half hours which I was fine with knowing the quality it's worth it but 1 hour and 40 mins gone by I call to see where my order is and they haven't even started mine yet and there is still a few orders In front of mine, shocking way to treat a customer at least call me back to explain the wait times had changed!? no offence to the girl answering the phones as she clearly had a hard time of it all...
