AlfrescoNapoli — Restaurant in Great Britain

A great little find in Newton Aycliffe not far from planet leisure. This was ideal for a meal before going and enjoying a bit of laser quest and bowling. Very popular for takeaway and a steady stream of people kept coming to collect their orders. A good sign which means it's popular so we thought our food would be good. 2 adults and 2 kids we enjoyed calzone and pasta dishes which were tasty and hot the spot just right. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time or order before hand as it is only small and as I already said busy so orders do need time to prepare. I would certainly go back for a family dinner before early evening...

Firstly the food is well above average and is some of the best Italian cuisine I have tasted in the UK. The restaurant looks fantastic although it's more of a takeaway with a sit in area rather than a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is priced brilliantly bordering on cheap when you compare it with the high quality food. The only issue is the speed of service, this place could be making money hand over fist with a little bit of planning. Such as lunch time many people can't leave work for 30mins to wait in a queue. Possibly have some made up Pasta boxes for quick...

We wanted a takeaway but seen somewhere that they just do walk ins and I was so confused with the system, a lovely customer actually explained everything to me as there was only 1 member of staff, i just felt a bit stupid but it wasn’t clear on what was going on. Restaurant was empty but lots of walk in whilst I was waiting. I ordered the cabonara, my partner got the Alfredo and we shared a cheesy garlic bread. It was an ok meal but a bit bland, nothing wrong with it but just maybe not...
