Worst Sunday lunch in a long while. 8 of us but restaurant was empty, literally 2 others eating and all the food was cold. Yorkshire chewy and burnt and the main meals were the same size as the kids meal. Same potatoes, meat, sprouts and carrots. Nothing like the menu card, didn't even have the same veg...

I had beef and a piece of Turkey was on the plate too. After we paid we erre told no cranberry sauce and you understand with a full restaurant not an empty one. The fluffy mash potatoes was dry and bitty and the gravy was cold. Mentioned it was bad and cold but it was too late to do anything as we had something to move on too. Waited 20 minutes for jelly and ice-cream and got told off because we asked where it was?

We were invited to see santa then told to make a donation.... you say that at the start not the end! The only highlight was the zootastic visit with a snake and dragon and rabbit! Kids loved it but that was it....

Very disappointed with that one. I know people can have a bad day but it was bad in every area...

No wonder it was empty and easy to book for....

£11 for adults which was the same £6 kids portion on a bigger plate. We finished a cold dinner because we had too or go hungry and we had a family event to attend. All meals came out ready for kids. Potatoes were hard not crispy and carrots were like they were boiled from frozen? Luke warm and hard...

Sad as we had a Friend down...

Looks a little tired from the outside. The food was basic pub grub, but quick & efficient service, but the meals were brought out without serviettes. They did not have any sliced lemon or lime for drinks. The outside beer garden needs a lot of TLC, not very nice, weeds, old wooden tables & benches which had seen better days, cigarette butt's & rubbish on the floor, we had our large dog so it was quieter here, although dogs are allowed inside. Not a nice area to sit in, although there is an alternative outside area also that's got a roof & seating & much nicer but was very busy to take our dog there but that was our choice. There is a designated children's area also. Staff very polite & friendly, inside clean. Mobile Pizza on the Friday not sure if this is a regular thing or whether it was because there was a function on, also live music but not a problem as this ended at 22.30. Great for an overnighter, large car park, free ELC hook up, if you buy a few drinks or food which we did. There are 4 hook up points, through the fence & trailing through the beer garden! so be quick as the car park is busy get there early if you want electric. Excellent bakery next door to the pub open from 7am but items sell v. fast as so popular. Would stay again for an overnighter, as staff again friendly & polite & it...

I’ve had plenty of Sunday lunches in my time, but none get even close to the sublime experience at The Beaufort in Kittle. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of traditional pub charm and modern comfort. Alan, John and the rest of the team are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about delivering top-notch service. The food, though, is the true star. The locally sourced Sunday roast is an absolute masterpiece - beef, lamb and turkey with all the trimmings. The Yorkshire pud is a work of art, golden and crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The roast potatoes are perfectly crispy, and the seasonal veg are always fresh, vibrant, and cooked just right. The gravy is something to write home about - rich, flavourful, and the perfect accompaniment to the entire meal. The portion sizes are beyond generous, leaving no room for desert 🤣 The Beaufort’s relaxed yet lively atmosphere, combined with its stunning food, makes it an unbeatable choice for a Sunday lunch. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a dining experience that shouldn’t be missed. And to top it off, the pool table in the bar area is one of the...

We visited to celebrate my granddaughter’s birth. There were eight of us in the party and as we all live in the village we anticipated staying for some time, including dinner. Whilst buying our second round we were initially refused service in spite of being decent customers, drinking quietly on the terrace. The landlord eventually agreed to serve that round but no more. We asked why but no explanation was forthcoming. The accessible toilet was dirty, smelly and the loo roll dispenser was empty with the loo rolls placed on the cistern. Not ideal if you are disabled, as I am. The men’s toilet has no lock on the cubicle. The terrace has cigarette ends littered all over it. The disabled parking spots were used by people not displaying blue badges. There was a clearly underage child drinking alcohol openly, in sight of staff. There was a strong smell of weed from some members of staff who also behaved as if they were under the influence. All in all, we felt very unwelcome and in spite of it being our “local” and within walking distance for all of us, we won’t be returning. Marstons should be ashamed of this being one of their pubs.

Nice pub, very friendly landlord, great food. Large carpark, which we stayed over the night in campervan. Was even offered mains hook up. Was free, but had to pay by giving landlord 1 toilet roll. I kid you not, that's his price. Good to visit mumble, Swansea, Gower etc. 2025 update. Landlord now charges £10 / night for campervans & £5 for electric. There is a tap and hose for topping water up, but no grey water or elson emptying facilities
