Nice friendly staff. The starter, bread crumbed deep fried prawns were delicious and not swimming in grease as so often in other restaraunts. Sitting close to the door was a bit cool. Had the special main, Pork with Parma ham, tagliatelle in a tomato sauce. Both my partners starter and my main had tomato sauce, which we both felt was lacking depth and flavour. Sea Bass in ravioli with prawns and asparagus. Served as, large ravioli with a thin layer of sea bass ( paste/minced) inside and the prawns and asparagus placed on top.Just felt the ratio of filing to pasta was low. Would have loved the prawns and pieces of sea bass within the ravioli, to make it a more filled ravioli, but that's a personal choice. The house wine was very nice. My table sat quiet while we ate, apart from the usual "mms," and "ahhs." Fantastic. Malky McEwan (Author of The No.1 guide...

The waitress came back with a message from the chef to say that it had been charred due to environmental health reasons...not sure I quite believe that but if so, it shouldn't be sold as carpaccio
I've now received a response from Ciros advising that they will be taking carpaccio off their menu soon due to these environmental health rules...misses the point...tell people when they order it that...
