Harbourside Takeaway — Restaurant in Great Britain

Absolutely ridiculous service. Ordered before 12pm and received the order cold and wrong. Ordered the steak loaded chips with caramelised onions and peppercorn sauce but only received cold plain chips. The other items were correct. Phoned up the takeaway thinking the issue would be resolved due to the mistake being addressed over the phone. Had to phone again at 2pm as the order was still not with us. Was told it'd be with us in 10-15 minutes. Had to phone again after waiting forty minutes to request a refund. Was told the boss would have to supply said refund but wouldn't be in for another 30 minutes. Finally received the order cold and with no onions. Phoned again and was told the boss just left. The employee then claimed that they did put onions on and that it left warm, before they announced "it's not my issue...we were busy...you accepted the order so no refund will be given." Another employee then pointed out that we never said that the chips we recieved initially were cold which was a mute point due to them missing everything that was meant to be on them. Terrible service. Will not be ordering again. Recommend no one else does too. And as seen in the image bellow, no onions. Reconsider your staff if they fail to own up to...

Oh dear, I dropped in to order 2x fish & chips, 1 got cooked, then had to wait for the other as they did not hear me on the first order. 1st 1 got boxed in a polystyrene box and placed on to of a heated cabinet, second part was placed in a bag on top of first, when I got home I found the 1st order box was melted in holes and tainted the food making it un-edable, only fit for binning! Fish was processed type in bread crumbs, 2 pieces exactly the same shape, size and thickness, like fried cardboard! God knows what fish it was! Plenty of chips but not fresh cut but frozen. The premises stink of old cooking oil, the lady doing the cooking wore her parker type coat, no hair net, and the man wore outside clothing as he went off and came back after delivering in the same clothing. Hygiene not a priority here then? After having to wait my jacket now stinks of old cooking oil too! They have a double electrical socket right over the sink, if thats live I don't know how they get away with it! I didn't know places still existed like this! 2 stars awarded for the chips. Ruined my wife's birthday treat, wont go...

Absolutely best wee takeaway around in the whole of the Shire ... my Burger, Chips & Cajun Onion Rings were cooked fresh in front of me and Customer Service was second to none.. very freindly...Prices were also spot on 👌🏻💯🙌🏻... Will definitely be coming here for my weekly treat from now on.... Thanks everyone here for the nice food and...
