JT's Fish Bar — Restaurant in Great Britain

Popped in with my granddaughter and daughter last night, friendly greeting, served by a young lady with dark hair in a bun with hairband really friendly, and the food was lovely chips best I've had in a long time.... My granddaughter was catered for beautifully by the young lady serving, a children's box of fish and chips Carton of fruit juice with a choice offered, and also a small colouring book and pencils issued as a lovely gesture as my granddaughter interacted with the young lady that sorted our tea.... Food was lovely all hot, choice on menu to suit all and great prices 👍 thanks all great service great staff effort would return and recommend, and thank you to our young server great Job...

Purchased a 12 inch margherita pizza which cost £8.75. Was served what appeared to be a standard cheap frozen margherita from the supermarket, which I was told would take 15-20 minutes (likely cooked in a standard oven not pizza oven, had very hard crusts). This wouldn’t be a problem if it was priced accordingly or I was told it would be such a low quality pizza for the price but this really isn’t acceptable for £8.75…

Other than that, the cod and chips we got was nice, and the service/restaurant looked good. Seems like a good place which made a mistake here with the pizza - can see another review which has a photo of a great looking pizza which is...

The best chipshop I have been to.. that is saying a lot. Normally chip shops are a bit disappointing. Thankfully many are excellent and in my opinion this is the best. Why you ask? Family run place serving high quality food cooked properly. We went as we missed other restaurants 9pm closing times. So it was at the end of a busy day and the chipshop had been very busy. Staff tired and winding down when we arrived. They made us welcome sorted out good and fine drinks (nice tasty beer) fed us royally. We really appreciated their professionalism and...
