Went to a birthday party in the back room the other week. Couldn’t see problem with that rooms s was decorated for the party but the main bar to walk through absolutely stunk of dog piss! Made me heave and he to run through. Disgusting. The toilets had mould all around the floor and don't think he been cleaned for months especially by the sides of toilets. New owners are really working hard to turn around this pub and make it enjoyable and they are doing a great job to be honest. Looking back this pub has been the usual state run down pub but the atmosphere and service has improved a lot so I’d recommend it, specially for the effort the owners put to involve families and local community....
