Greggs — Restaurant in England

We had a toastie and lattes which were on par with other Greggs. I am a bit annoyed that everytime you go back to the counter you are charged gain to sit in. But what annoyed me most was after buying a pack of 3 custard tarts and finding they were raw, the girl tried to tell me that it was the new way they were doing them. Well I'm sorry Greggs but if this is the case you won't be selling more to me. Update October 2025 This place is still a mess - hardly any savoury’s etc on display - waiting time for a steak bake was 15 mins I came back 15 minutes later and I was told it would be another 15 mins. Obviously something going wrong in this place !!! I left and won’t be back.

Went today at just gone 11am to order a breakfast baguette - snd we were welcomed by the most miserable member of staff. Not a hello, not a smile, it felt as though we were disturbing her by ordering ! This lady needs to find another job preferably not a costumer...

I've had faster service in accident and emergency - put the newest and slowest on the tills and the most experienced always in the back with the 3rd one pretending to be busy doing not alot - same story everyday - will now be visiting subway or Costa nextdoor ... I've had enough - especially when tried serving me a vegan item with yellow tongues - told them to keep it obviously - and no one washes their hands after handling any of the meat items...
