This has been our go-to chip shop for a while now, the pizza's are lovely and the chips were brilliant.

However, in the last month or two something has changed with the chips. We've gone back three times just in case it was a bad evening, but they have definitely changed in taste and they are no longer nice.

Also, when getting chips and cheese the chips end up going cold very fast, presumably because the cheese is cold? A quick nuke would sort that out.

The fish has changed as well, I think the pieces are larger now but there's quite a lot of bones and something has changed with the taste there as well.

I'm not sure what's happened, maybe they've changed what they are using to cook the chips in etc, but I wish they would return to the old ways.

Worst chippy ever it was revolting the worst thing was the attitude of the staff especially the women with short hair the miserable looking one and the other girls who clearly dont want to be there really need to work on their customer service I myself work in retail and could never treat customers like this but the fish supper was soo greasy that I couldn’t finish it worried id up end with high cholesterol it was strange that before I even finished saying my order they already had the fish supper on standby definitely wasn’t fresh and abit stingy on the vinegar anaw literally paid £12.50 for garbage and rubbish customer...

Awful. My husband picked up a sausage supper and chips and cheese last night. He came out about a minute later, not a good sign as I assume the chips were ready served but not cooked fresh. Chips were cold, cheese hadn’t melted they were also a bit hard. Went in the bin. Stomach is a bit dodgy today despite only eating a handful of chips. Don’t waste your time. Clearly they don’t care about quality of food, or hygiene! Thjs was a Thursday night so I can’t see why chips can’t be cooked to order so they aren’t lying too long. Never write bad reviews but this is the worst...
