Mill lane bakery — Restaurant in Great Britain

I love the food here. I only wish that the majority of the costumers that also go here at the same time of the day as I do were not so invasive. I am talking about the builders and the people who work in the construction industry. They are so loud and insensitive to other people that the last time I visited, I found the sounds in the shop too much to bear, and waited outside until the builders left. I was beckoned inside by the staff so as to serve me, but because of my anxiety regarding the workmen I didnt enter until they were gone. The usually friendly person behind the counter seemed to resent my desire to shop in an environment that was not to my liking ,and they didn't greet me or say goodbye as usual. It's not my wish to denigrate anybody least of all your valued customers, but some of them are really not very socialised, nice people though they may well be. If there is a time of day when the workmen are less likely to be in, please let me...

Having been to this store many times from childhood right the way through to adulthood, I am always a believer in supporting local businesses over bigger corporations and if I am honest this review sums it up for this establishment.

I'm someone who has a sweet tooth and the products they sell here are top notch amazing quality items. A wide selection of items to chose and always a high standard of friendly warm and inviting attitude for customers both local and passerby.

I have always recommended this store to be the best cake shop in Brighton and not many people realise it but this store does hell lot better quality products than the likes of greggs for example.

I'm only putting 1 star not because the shop is awful or anything as jve not been there yet! Only so it allows me to leave a review ! I was after the phone number which I cant seem to find. As I wanted to see if they did a certain bread ( sourdough) before I trundled over to the shop. As I live in North Portslade always heard great reviews but always forget its there. Id use it more if I knew what they sell. Hence the reason for the phone number. I'm sure it'll be a 5 star 🌟 rating once in the shop & sampled their goodies. So please don't take this as a bad review as its NOT.
