Lovely little restaurant which I know we'd frequent if we lived nearby. We'd had a large lunch so we were eating late (7:30pm) only to find everywhere other than stodgy/salty takeaways had stopped serving food at 7, and those that served later were to be shut at 8. Nicha's is open until 10pm and were more than happy to serve us, we wanted something light and full of vegetables (to avoid getting bloated again) and went for the noodle soup, which was perfect. Fresh & crisp vegetables in a light broth with delicious noodles, and the waitresses brought out a tray of seasonings and explained what each one was allowing us to flavour the broth (and it's spiciness) to our liking. Meat was also incredibly tender. Plenty of other traditional menu options as well if you do want a more traditional and strong favoured meal (speaking to others in the restaurant at the time), but an ideal restaurant for light healthy feeling meal after a week of eating out every night.

Another AMAZING meal tonight, Nicha and her staff even made it a lovely birthday do for me! We were greeted warmly, shown to our table with a birthday card for me and then given a bottle of prosecco! Loyalty rewards eh! We went with the Satay Skewers for starters - juiciest chicken ever and Nicha’s satay is soooo tasty! We then had the Thom Yum soup with Chicken and rice - loads of flavour and just a good whack of heat to set it off. Really is the best Thai we've had and we just keep going back. They are a lovely welcoming place, very authentic and somewhere you just know you'll enjoy. They're doing a brilliant job. Thank you again guys, keep going!

Absolutely delicious! So flavourful and one of the best curries I’ve ever had. You need to bring your own alcohol if we wish to have some - £2 fee per person. The menu is quite ample, with different options of chicken, pork, beef and both tofu or vegetables to choose from as vegetarian options. Quick and friendly service. Setting the bill is also easy as you just walk to the cash point whenever you’re ready to leave. One to repeat!

I rang to book a table for dinner, as I couldn't find another way to get in touch, & was told that this restaurant is cash only (definitely worth knowing). I looked at other reviews too & realised they don't have a drinks licence either, but you can take your own (we bought some from the Co-op just up the road). Our visit started badly as, upon arrival, we were ignored by the waitress who appeared engrossed in filling out some type of form, but once seated things improved. I found the menu was just large enough &, as a vegetarian, I thought it great that you could have any dish with tofu or veg. Our food arrived quickly & it was just the best quality, but I had to ask for serviettes... I'd definitely eat here again when...

We visited here last weekend with two other couples - the table was pre booked and was the one we had requested. The waitress was quick to ask us which glasses we needed for our drinks and brought them seconds later. Bonus that you can bring your own drink too which makes it a cheaper night! The food was gorgeous and served quickly. Very accommodating of one of us with a nut allergy they cooked their meal separately to the others. The restaurant is lovely with a great atmosphere. I had the Thai red curry which was a winner! Husband had the Chicken in black pepper sauce which he raved about (he doesn’t usually eat Thai!) We plan to get a takeaway from there...
