Pentrebane Fish Bar — Restaurant in Great Britain

Very poor service today.

After using this chip shop on numerous times and was previously satisfied, extremely disappointed that our delivety order hasn't arrived, when we rang them to find out what has happened, and was told that their delivery driver has been held up with roadworks.

Being born and raised in the area, and was in Pentrebane today there is no roadworks between the chip shop and my home, the only roadworks are currently on Waterhall Road, that's in the opposite direction. The man the said we're really busy... so why all the rubbish about roadworks? No apology, just been told "it will come tonight" ?!?!?

Now nearly an hour and a half later and still no sign of our delivery.

Update: just delivered, least the driver apologised for the delay.

Will avoid in future as we don't like...

WOW, SIMPLY AMAZING !!!

It was my 1st time visiting this place. After visiting so many local kebab houses in this part of Cardiff, i have been let down by tiny portions for expensive prices.

Then I came across this place, it's one of Cardiffs hidden gems, big portions, with good quality marinaded doner meat and chicken kebab. They also do some of the nicest chippy chips I've tried in years.

This place is so good. I'm going to give it a 9.5 out of 10, it smashes all of the local rivals like Yummies and King Kebab out of the park. The staff were also super friendly, and i will be recommending this place to all my friends and family across the west of Cardiff.

Fantastic food quality served up in fairly hasty fashion and well-mannered, friendly and polite staff who work hard to create a positive atmosphere make Pentrebane Kebab House one of my favourite places to go if I'm not in the mood for cooking! Great portion sizes at affordable prices and what's best is due to cleanliness of the store and staff you won't be left with a dodgy stomach the next day - unlike a few other places in the local area. Furthermore, if you're tempted to pop in make sure to try some chicken which is always well-cooked and seasoned to perfection - probably up there with the best Cardiff...
