Our first visit to Salvatore's and it is a lovely restaurant with a diverse uncomplicated menu. The food was absolutely delicious from the starters to the mains. The pizzas are so good (proper pizzas) and the pasta dishes are delicious. It is not cheap but it is very good, set in a lovely village location. When we were there they were two staff short and the restaurant was quite busy, so the wait between starter and main course was a bit longer than I would have liked, but it was worth the wait. The service was great, the waitress we had was polite and chatty, very homely atmosphere. Was very busy which is always a good sign when it comes to restaurants. We've ordered takeaway multiple times and the food was great so we had to go and eat in, even better! The banoffee pie is the best pudding you can ask for!
