Silver Lounge Cafe — Restaurant in Great Britain

When i was younger I really enjoyed this cafe until i recently visited a few days ago. This cafe is absolutely discusting. Was eating here to find ants crawling on the table and floor of where I was eating. I had waited almost 25 to 30 minutes for the He-man breakfast with toast. I went to go make the tea at the self serve station, struggling as im disabled. no help was offered in this process, the tea and coffee was cheap and discusting for the price that i had paid. The milk was warm and there was ants crawling on the side too, this made my stomach curl. During the waiting time I went to the toilet to discover when i sat down the toilet was leaking with water from the back, no toilet paper was provided. I felt like a caveman having to scavenger in my purse for some tissue. As i was walking back to my seat i witnessed of what i thought my sausages left on the green cutting board which made me wonder what was previously left onto the surface. The staff was dressed unprofessional. A rather large woman walked down the stairs in pyjamas and as she opened the door a waft of smell appeared. The whole cafe stunk of cannabis, I was appauled! As my food arrived it looked like someone had microwaved the breakfast and it tasted like it was bought from a lidl. My toast had never arrived I am still waiting! It was so silent in the room it felt I could hear my own breath. I barely touched my meal as i was so discusted of how this was served. I strongly advise you to not come to this extremely unpleasant and unhygienic place. I wish that I cooked at home, I am utterly suprised how this not even deserved to be called a cafe is still standing and with a 5 star hygiene rating is obserd! I’m not one to give bad reviews to local businesses but here we go. Ordered from Ubereats and paid £18. Does the picture look like this is worth the money? Absolutely not, I could cook better than this and I wish I did! They should no longer be on Ubereats because their phone does not work and there is no way of getting in contact with them. Obviously there is a reason for this because they probably get many complaints with the quality of food. The chef should be ashamed to think it’s ok to send this quality of food out to customers. There was no care when making the food and packing it. The toasts were drenched in a poor portion of baked beans, the hash browns and mushrooms were very burnt. I found a little piece of hair in my egg. The food was also so cold. My partner and I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it in the bin. I will never be ordering from here again and hope others are not fooled by the average of reviews which is why I decided to trust this place.

SHOCKING! After using the silver lounge for many years I popped in for a quick breakfast and now wish I had walked on by. The guy behind the counter looked as if he had not slept for weeks and was really disinterested and not helpful. We order two different breakfasts and after 20 mins he had managed to get them completely wrong. During the period 3 customers came and went there was no staff to help them. As for the breakfast the hash browns were over cooked on the outside and cold in the middle. The bacon was chewy and over cooked again aswell as the sausages which were lack of flavour and nothing but cheap. The toast was soggy and eggs were dry not runny. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! This was appalling. When asking about our teas the guy nonchalantly told us to make them ourselves with little regard of any hospitality or service and then I also realised I had to collect my own cutlery aswell.
