I will start this by saying I have never ever phoned to complain about taste before. It's never been that bad that I wouldn't soldier on and eat it and then just quietly move on with my life. I called up tonight about the Thai Green chicken curry, a dish I have eaten before but never like this. I had to complain as it tasted like it was comprised of rotten cheese and smelled unbearably vile. When I called up asking for that one dish to be refunded I was told no, but offered another dish in future. I was prepared to take it but when I pressed them on it I was told that perhaps it was me that was at fault and that I didn't know what it was meant to taste like. So, offended I turned down the offer of the free meal and did what any sensible person would do and write a strongly worded review. Avoid this place...

Rude service. First time ordering here. The delivery driver was very friendly. However there was an item missing so I called to report this (14.01.23, 9.53pm). I was told repeatedly that the item wasn't missing. Then the person hung up on me. She then called me back saying there is CCTV evidence that she personally packed the item so I must have received it. I requested a refund if a replacement was not provided. She told me if I shared my experience online then she would share the CCTV evidence showing that I am a liar. Perhaps this person was having a bad day, which has left me feeling sad, angry, and a bit hungry. Do better,...

As our usual chinese was closed for the whole of Feb (Chinese New Year) we decided to try 888 and oh boy we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, large portions and delivered on time. It is definitely not the cheapest and I thought that £5 delivery charge to Bearwood was a bit steep BUT it was well worth it. The girl that delivered our food was lovely and friendly. We will definitely order again, it is really hard to find a good takeaway...
