Used to like this one but they've got the new menu...
Not many brands base their custom on a menu that they build up for over a decade+ that customers then come to find synonymous with and recognise the name and logo anywhere in the world to know what they want from that establishment for them to then go and completely destroy that menu, business model and customer relationship, but that is what Subway has done.
Not only is there no recognised subs on the list of menu items from the old menu but if you want one of the old subs you are charged a premium price (+£2.40 for a slice of meat) and the "Series" are fixed and cannot have your own choices added to them- this was the whole idea of Subway in the first place!
The pricing structure is no longer transparent as if you don't want one of the limited new menu items you will not know how much you are paying on the "create your own" until you get to the checkout... which is a bit convenient...

Then I ordered a wrap and ask for the meat to be heated separately - they put the chicken and bacon straight onto some paper and when they took it out and put it on the wrap, all the paper was stuck to it. They then proceeded to put the minimum amount of salad on there and the wrap ended up tiny. Not happy...
Read moreI love subway and will continue to go. Friendly place, good service, though in some stores could better. Asked them to change gloves, as I'm vegetarian & I don't like meat residues on my food, which they did. Though one or to have done so with some reluctance, like I'm making to big a deal. But most are fine about it. In some stores there is no start like, " Good morning" or "Hello". Sometimes no finish like " Goodbye" or Have a nice day". I realise that you can have a bad shift, or your fed up, but most customers are not interested....
