Whilst on holiday we popped in on Friday evening and was very impressed, the pub was very busy and friendly with a great atmosphere. The choice of beer was very good, tasty and well kept. We returned on Sunday as we had enjoyed our previous visit. We were looking to eat here on Monday evening, unfortunately the pub dog on this visit was very off putting. Very disappointed. Had to drive back to Bamburgh to get a decent meal. Take the sign down when you're not cooking so...
