the food was decent but the service on the other hand… the lad at the bar was friendly when we came in, got us seated and we ordered our food and drink. not too long of a wait, the meals came out slowly and not all together but our order was incorrect so got sent back. they then brought the same food back out to us and we explained again what was wrong. now i’m a waitress myself so i understand mistakes happen and they can be easily rectified but the staff seemed more confused than us. we then had a new meal out that was correct but one was remade incorrectly even though we made it clear what we were after. staff didn’t seem apologetic but after a short wait we finally had all of our correct meals. we had finished our food, a few of us had gone outside to vape and when we came back in staff were stood behind the bar on phones and our table still hadn’t been cleared (it’d been about 20 minutes since we’d finished our food at this point) we sat around waiting for a bit before calling someone over to order dessert, our table was then cleared without any interaction from the waitress, we were not asked if we enjoyed the food or anything, no chit chat was made. lovely little pub but missing the friendly feel from a few...
Read moreVisited here on a walk from three cliffs bay, with our two young boys and dog. The landlady couldn't have been more attentive and welcoming. Now how thoughtful is that. We were so grateful for such a kind and generous couple, who deserve to be successful. Thank you so much for making our time with you a pleasure. Will look forward to dropping by when we are on holiday again. The...

"Not really" said I. "Well you look it" said she "would you like some veggie massaman, curry half and half" We accepted whole heartedly, our bellies sung out with joy and relief. "I'll just pop the frier back on" There we were, not 20 minutes later, chowing down on a delicious curry and nursing our ciders. The locals were friendly and jovial. Amazing atmosphere. Could not...
