If you live in the Pennard Southgate (Gower) area you’ll know there’s a limited choice when it comes to eating out locally, not anymore!! Thanks to the timely arrival of Pobbles Pizza, a small pop up almost Pizza Hut in the heart of Southgate village and open Friday Sat 6/9 I think. These pizzas are simply delicious, from the carefully sourced organic ingredients including the pizza bases, arguably the most important ingredient to any pizza are just brilliant, cooked to perfection along with a variety of toppings that are all as you want and expect from a great pizza. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. To top it all the owners n staff are all very friendly and accommodating. A much needed local delight for all those that like and know a proper pizza when they taste n see one, def a 10/10. Well here's the thing! We arrived on our first Friday in Southgate after long drive from Leicester, we had no space in our car for food so we saw Pobbles Pizza open and thought it would serve to fill a hole! I am not a pizza lover! Correction I was not a pizza lover! These Pizzas are a-maz-ing , even the pepperoni is the best I've ever tasted! Toby is working there on his own, friendly chap took my order told me the time it would be ready, great choice of topping , no worries if you want something different cos he can do it! The best Pizza I've EVER had. I'm in week two of four on my third visit, all my guests get to have the pleasure and all agree the best! Incredibly generous owner that made our engagement day extra special. It was late in the evening when we popped in here for food. The owner asked why we were visiting and we mentioned we had just got engaged hours ago. He apologised saying he was fully booked with orders and suggested we try a pub down the road for food. We did but when we arrived they stopped serving food, so we just sat outside with a drink. Next thing we know the owner of Pobbles was at our table with two pizza's - on the house!
