Mother in law came here for a work meal. Ordered a steak. It came out practically mooing when she ordered it medium. It came with a steak and a handful of chips with nothing else. When she raised this to a member of staff, a lady with dark hair and a pony tail, she was told then that everything had run out not before she ordered, she was not offered any other choice in fact the member of staff was very impatient drumming her fingers on the table while my mother-in-law looked for an alternative. The member of staff had an extremely bad attitude and when a complaint was made to the manager, she was recognised by the manager straight away. An okay Wetherspoons with a pleasant beer garden area at the front, with bench table seating. BUT some staff are not so great. After ordering via the App this afternoon, I decided to move benches as I noticed the one I was on (number 93) had sticky spillages absolutely everywhere, including on part of the seating area. When my order was brought out, I explained to the staff member that I had moved to the next bench because the other bench was very sticky everywhere and visibly in a very unclean condition. I said it could do with a wipe down really. She was non-committal and kind of shrugged her shoulders. I was sat in beer garden for another hour and at no time was it cleaned. Went on a Thursday curry night ordered chicken balti then sat down with my drink to then be told there's no balti so I asked for the jalfrezi he went away and then came back I asked for the tikka malsala to which he return without so I said I give in you choose I ended up with lamb rogan josh was OK but wouldn't choose it again the poppodoms were covered in little pools of fat oil from the deep fat fryer and the garlic nann had been in the micro too long as the edges were hard ?? They also had no blackcurrant for my drink so I was not really impressed thereally was a customer walking round collecting glasses and all the tables were empty !!
