Ashoka's latest offering. The restaurant is located on East Kilbride Road, next door to the Peking Palace chinese. Food offered is a mix of Indian and western food from curries to pizzas and everything in between. The food differs from the normal Indian style food that i am used to. The vegetable Pakora was closer to that of an onion bhaji but delicious none the less. The vegetable curry is again different from that of an aloo gobi. The range of veg used was very varied and a bit drier, less sauce. My friend enjoyed her chicken dishes, opting for chicken pakora and chicken curry. Discussed the food with the manager, who was a pleasant guy, and the girl serving was also very nice and provided an attentive service. The restaurant feels spacious, not too busy, but it was a Wednesday night. The portions were plentiful and represented good value for money. It's worth a visit.

Had a couple of meals here now, one on the first week of opening and one around a week ago. Truly a great addition to the area, would be a good quality city centre restaurant so nice to see somewhere of such quality local. Good selection of beers, the Indian food is very authentic but will have something new even for connoisseurs. The option of western food is a nice touch as even the pickiest eaters will have something for them here. The curry’s are incredible as were the starters, can’t remember the names but all in all tried 4 of the starters and 4 of the curry’s and can say all were lovely and varied. Highly recommend the lunch deal it’s an absolute bargain. Go and see...

I was bitterly disappointed here, was so looking forward to it after the hype of murphy's but this was so below average. To start we asked to be moved as there was an abundance of fruit flies at our table, the starters were nice however the main was horrendous, my meat was chewy and lacked flavour, my kids food was really bland and my husband said his curry was nothing special. the girl serving was lovely so we didn't make a fuss as it wasnt her fault but the cost for three pre-theatres one main and 4 soft drinks was 92.00 which i think for the quality of the food and the actual venue and area it is in is pretty ridiculous. Sadly wont...
