Just had a meal here was not impressed firstly my glass was disgusting so I paid for an orange juice that I wouldn’t drink we had starters which was probably the best bit of the meal I then had the ribs salad and chips husband had curry and rice all I can say is it’s a good job we had our starters because we both left our mains my ribs where only Luke warm the chips looked like old rewarmed chips my salad had some oil over it then was mixed with the bbq sauce from the ribs not nice to look at or pleasant to heat husband said the curry had a twang horrible after taste we did not stay for dessert The whole place had a strange odour of dog would not return

We were the first in the pub at 4.30pm today. Plenty of seating areas. We chose to sit in the main bar area at the big table in the window. The fire was on and tv was on. Felt pleasant. Plenty of food choices including specials boards. We chose chicken and mushroom pie, mash and peas £12.50 and chilli lasagne £10.50 we ordered a side of cheesy garlic bread too. A pint of Fosters and a pint of Fosters shandy. £37. Service very good and food very good, hot, tasty and plenty of it as you can see from the photos. The pub started filling up a popular pub with locals and visitors too. Would recommend. Very dog friendly.

First time and maybe go again. Had homemade chilli served with tortilla chips and rice plus a side salad ( added dressing) not a fan of dressing on my salad so left it. Rather a tight area to sit in and a group behind were rather loud. Had a wait for food but was informed prior so no Biggie. Return visit in May 2024, had the chilli again but managed to also eat a fruit pudding and custard. A return in May 2025 had lasagne with chips and garlic bread, very enjoyable. Returned in June 2025 had the 6oz burger with chilli, and cheese, accompanied with homemade chips and side salad. Again enjoyed it all.

Have been here before for lunch and really enjoyed it. Lovely lady serving the food which was delicious and a really nice atmosphere. We went again this evening for dinner and unfortunately what a difference! Firstly the bar area was full of workmen, which isn't a problem whatsoever. The noise with shouting and laughing was extremely loud, which again wasn't a problem, although not really a pleasant atmosphere to eat in, nevertheless nothing against people enjoying themselves. The problem was we were very loudly regailed with racism, vulgar shouting and virtually every swear word continually, particularly from one of the men. We ate our food as fast as possible and left. On reflection we should have walked out straight away but initially thought they were just letting off some steam after work. Absolutely no consideration for other people in the pub and the bar staff, who were pleasant enough, did nothing to ask them to tone down the language and content so I guess it's a usual occurrence. I mix with people from everywhere, in all situations but that was very unpleasant tonight...

We chose to stop here after a day trip to Hemsby. Close to the beach, only 5 minutes drive. Good menu that caters for all.

Upon arrival, we found a seat and looked through the menu, being told where the specials board was. Food was very reasonable and much cheap than many chain pubs - approximately £36 for two mains and two children's meals. We had a short wait for food and when it came, we were all impressed! The kids ate burgers from the children's menu and we had a burger from the main menu and a pie of the day from the specials board. Chips were homemade as was the pie and burgers and every plate was cleared by the end of the meal. There was a good selection from the desserts menu. We ordered the kids had ice cream and an adults fudge cake was ordered - all went down a treat!

Staff were helpful and pleasant and filled our water bottles up for us as we were travelling home (3 hour journey) after the meal.

All in all, this was the best meal out we've had in some time and look forward to returning whenever we next visit the east coast area of...

Been here many times and never had a problem my partner booked a table for 18.30 because she had been on a course all day and I had been at work all day and her parents had been looking after our dogs for us so as a thank you we told them we would treat them to a meal ordered 4 meals was told by the lady behind the bar there would be a short wait didn't think it would be a problem but 19.30 still no food so my partner asked the same lady how much longer the food would be as one of our people was diabetic she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away the lady in question had tattoos on her leg and had glasses on 19.45 we told her that we would have to take it away as it was to late to eat it then to be told by the same lady's that we should have booked earlier she was so rude and unprofessional as locals we will never...
