Subway — Restaurant in Guildford

Used to be so much better, now even though they seem to have more staff behind the counter at any time than customers in front, the stock is not filled up until a sandwich artist shouts for more. The staff mumble and if you are not a frequent visitor have no clue what they may be saying. Cheese and toasted is 3 separate words please use them. They dont make the sandwiches with anything approaching care now. Makes me feel like I am inconveniencing them by asking for food. The staff here are some of the worst employed by Subway. There's a woman who uses the place as a creche and screams at her kids through the customer standing in front of her, a guy who is so slow you could refuel your car and get a Greggs in the time it takes him to make half a sub, and everyone has this feeling of utter misery about them while they work. Staff under resourced. Had to wait for meatballs to be defrosted/cooked (this is lunch time on weekday) while one sub had been prepped and was cold by the time of eating it no apology. The last 3 times over 2 years has been the same experience either no meatballs or had to wait. Each time I go in it is a worse experience. Shame but no...
