The Kings Head Smeeton Westerby — Restaurant in Harborough

Pooped in here for the first time a week ago... Saturday afternoon, we were the first in.. guy behind bar looked at me.. nothing, no welcome, looked at me gone out.. had a pint anyway but found both the guys behind the bar quite rude and very unwelcoming... Shame as a lovely little pub... Definitely will never return here.. just a simple honest review.. nice pint.....

Told tonight “it’s a local pub for local people” so I walked out. Working in Leicester so stopped with a friend and popped out for a pint to be met by easily the grumpiest woman I’ve met in a decade.

Never actually thought I’d hear someone say that😂😂😂.

Suffice to say me and my friend (who is local)...

Chanced upon this fantastic proper village pub when on the boat. What a great place to drink. Felt extremely welcome by the new proprietors and locals alike. If you like real ale and a warm welcome then this is the place for you. Will definitely return...
