Belash Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Harlow

Lost its ambition... I have been going to Belash on and off for over 10 years. I haven't been for a while and because I was passing the Stow placed an order for collection. They asked if I wanted poppadoms over the phone which I didn't want as it was a meal for one and to be fair the other 3 Indians I use in Harlow defacto put free poppadoms in. The meal was standard and was ok, but the Naan bread was completely burnt as in, non edible burnt. There was also not a single person in the restaurant at 10pm on a Saturday night. We’d been before (mr, the chick & mine bruda) but not for a long time. Done a last minute booking through a third party app & the app sh*t the bed, so when we arrived there was no booking but the guys rallied & through together a table, even though the place was choca during the eat out to help out scheme. Despite the hellish demand the chef must have been under, the food came quickly & was truly delicious & the service was effortlessly friendly! Wonderful service and quality food. Second time back and will continue to return. Have to say as customer who previously had a take away they were so attentive while I waited... Drinks on house ... Amazing staff!! They go above and beyond .Bonus the bathroom was also clean. Good music and warm atmosphere. Hard to believe this beautiful place is at the stow in Harlow. We had a great night.
