Visited this hidden gem of a cafe for the first time for brunch with my son and my friends with their little girl today. The staff were very lovely and welcoming throughout our whole experience there. We were there for an hour and a half and we weren’t rushed out the door at all. There were plenty of options on where to sit. Originally we were going to sit outside for extra space for the kids but the woman behind the till (never did get her name but she had gorgeous purple hair) recommended sitting in a table area in the corridor just outside of the cafe due to it being a little bit colder today than it was the rest of the week. The menu was friendly for everyone. My son had the multi seed buttered toast and I had the BLT also on multi-seed bread, while my friends had toasties and a jacket potato and it all tasted so fresh. Later on, I went back into the cafe to get my son another drink and they gave him and my friends’ little girl a free chocolate egg each. The hospitality and customer service was amazing and we will no doubt be returning in the future after telling my partner, who couldn’t be here today due to work, all about this amazing experience! Thank you again,...
Read moreI came here as I saw online that they did good vegan options, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were also knowledgeable when I asked if there was milk powder in the hot chocolate and they informed me they had a vegan option for hot chocolate (with a choice of oat or almond milk). As a long time vegan, it was nice to have different options (coronation chickpeas is a favourite of mine) and not just the usual falafel like most places offer. They also do NHS discount on hot drinks which is also appreciated. Even as a non-vegan, the menu is vast, many options and the food is all freshly made to order. The café had a nice atmosphere and people in and out frequently with a friendly welcome. Will definitely be back soon 🖤 P.S The café is next to the main entrance of the Latton Bush Centre, not at the rear units as Google...
