KFC Saint Leonards - Battle Road — Restaurant in Hastings

Thursday 12th October we did a click and collect, made the order 17:50, checked in on route 18:15, arrived after parking 18:25. Order was not ready. I waited 40min and watched on screen for my turn. This is where I observed the worst service I have ever experienced or witnessed for all the KFCs I have been in, the woman of age (not discriminating) was the slowest I have ever seen to work on a shoot to pack food for eat in and take out, there was no order from latest to newest order she was working off from the screen except she prioritised the Uber/just eat drivers. When challenged by a custumer to make a compliment her response was totally unprofessional. 2 people cancelled there order as they were waiting over an hour. I cancelled my order once it was clear I was not going to receive my food within good time after waiting 40mins. I am all for equal opportunities but you need to make sure your staff are fit and capable of carrying out the job, either she lied or she is a friend of the manager? She clearly is not fit to work for fast food chains. Once I cancelled my order I went to a local fried chicken take out and only waited 5mins and was cheaper not to mention tasted just like KfC. Clearly KFC brand is not what is used to be and regional managers not pulling there weight carrying out inspections, what ever happened to mystery shoppers? Went to the KFC, new one by Asda, first time customer at this branch. I've been eating KFC for 40 years or there abouts. I used the screen ordering system, ordered a zinger burger with no extras, and a boneless box. Had no option to remove the chips, as since KFC has changed them they are minging, soggy excuses for a chip. Ordered the gravy, which is now thin and tasteless, or is from this branch anyway. Also paid extra 40p for Tropicana. When I completed the order I waited for my receipt from the machine, but got nothing. I duly sat and waited for my order. The screen then changed to say mine was ready to collect, luckily I remembered the number, as no receipt. But nothing was ready for 5 minutes. When it was ready, they tried to give me an orange fruit shoot, I said I didn't want it twice to the girl, who informed me this was what they offered in replacement. I got tango instead which I don't like. Dips I had ordered were not in the bag and the boxes hadn't even been attempted to be closed. When I got the 'meal' home it was cold, only a five minute drive, so had to nuke it. Only realised when I got home that they hadn't refunded the 40p. One person seemed to be actually doing the job properly while the rest looked clueless.

Awful! This place needs to be closed down. My food turned up and to try and express just how bad it was is going to be difficult but I'll give it a go. Most of my order was missing so I had very little in the way of pictures. The burgers that turned up were not edible at all. They had burnt overcooked chicken, soggy buns, sloppy and the spicy sauce was just everywhere. I ordered rice, didn't turn up. They even got the quantity of my drinks wrong. My daughter's meal was completely missing. It looked like they had just picked up the nearest piece of food and chucked it in a box. How do these companies get away with these standards. The driver had to wait ages and there was no one else in there. He said they are trying to prove a point about needing more staff. Well, can you not ruin my night but trying to prove your point. Leave your job if your not happy, but don't ruin other people's evening with your lack of quality and no standards at all. The thoughtlessness is unbelievable. Won't be eating from here ever again.
