I’m a regular at Tesco Café for breakfast, and for good reason. It’s a solid choice for a quick, affordable meal that hits the spot. The Full English is my usual go-to – decent portions, cooked well, and consistently served hot. The bacon is nicely crisped, the sausages are flavorful, and the eggs (whether scrambled, fried, or poached) are done just right.
One of the things I appreciate most is the value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially when you factor in the Clubcard discounts. You can get a hearty breakfast and a decent cup of coffee without spending a fortune.
Service is generally friendly and efficient, even when it gets busy during the morning rush. The café itself is clean and comfortable, though it’s not exactly a “trendy brunch spot” – it’s more practical and familiar, which honestly suits me just fine.
Overall, Tesco Café is a reliable option for breakfast. It’s not fancy, but it delivers on comfort food, convenience, and value. If you’re looking for a simple and satisfying start to your day, it does...
Read moreMy wife, son and I came in for lunch and ordered a breakfast, a brunch and a kids ½jacket potato with fish fingers. The breakfast was how it always is, with crucified bacon and rock hard fried egg. ( The last breakfast I had was exactly the same, but when I sent the egg back a supervisor (?) Came out to question me and told me that's how they come, and was replaced with some equally poor scrambled egg. Given this is the response I didn't bother saying anything today) lady came up to inform my wife she'd made a mistake as there was no longer a kids ½ jacket potato, so ordered the full size version, which she had to pay for despite it being the employee mistake. The avacado was bullet hard and inedible, and when my wife's jacket potato arrived it was powder dry, . Thought I'd give the place a second chance as everyone has an off day, but it was atrocious. The chef/cook should be ashamed of themselves for presenting food of this quality... However, the coffee was...
Read moreShocking. My partner and I went here after having done a big shop today (Sunday 24/07/22) I had a brunch my partner had a breakfast. We were told there would be a 39min wait so I was fine with that. When the food arrived it did not look appetising, the eggs were like rocks the bread was dry and the fried bread was dripping in fat. If it had not been for the coffee being ok it would be zero stars. I did go to speak to a member of staff but no one was at the till and my partner by this point just wanted to leave. I will not be returning to...
