Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Havant

Around a week ago me and my husband tried ordering a pizza- we went through the app as we always do, once we got to the end it said they were closed. So we called to order, somebody had answered then hung up, tried calling multiple times after but no answer at all. This was around 9pm so they were open. Anyway- last night we ordered and omg I am fuming- 1hour and a half wait for 2 pizzas on a Wednesday evening!!!! I’d understand if we had a huge order or it was a weekend but my god 1hour and a half for 2 pizzas!!! No call to say there would be a delay, or a warning they were busy when ordering. When they pizzas finally arrived it was just after 10:30pm, They were stone cold, and tough.Like it had been microwaved! I’ve never had a bad experience with them and was so gutted! But the thing that has really annoyed me is as I was eating my pizza the steak on the pizza smelt off as I put it to my mouth but I didn’t think anything off it! Once I ate some I started to notice it tasted off too! My husband thought it was just my taste buds until he realised that it was in fact the pizza. Now it being the next day we are both severely poorly and my husband has had to loose a days money from work! because it has made him so poorly!! I will be taking this further !!! And we will never be ordering from here...

You're not expecting to get an artisan pizza here, it's a town centre franchise pizzeria so hopes were not high when I stepped through the door.

However on a single order pizza you do expect it to be correct eh!

Walked all the way into town for a stretch of the legs and to take advantage of their collection offer, All Meat on a BBQ base was my preferred first time Papa John experience, heard many people rave about Papa Johns on my travels but I guess they have never ordered from here...

Service was quick and the staff were okay and I was quickly on my way back home balancing my pizza box and enjoying the warm summers evening.

Such a disappointment when I did get home... as you can see in the photo, all meat has turned out to be some meat and not so obvious in the picture is that it has been made on a tomato base, honestly how can you get something so simple on a single item order so wrong.

Not wishing to walk into town and back again I am faced with the choice of suffering a lack lustre bland pizza or opening a tin of mac n cheese..

Yeah you got it, the 5 stars go to Heinze for their simple but tasty pasta dish 😉

I will at some point try another Papa John, after all, not ever outlet will get...

If, like me, you've just finished a hard day's work and fancy treating yourself & your loved one to a takeaway then avoid this bunch of jokers at all costs.

On the other hand, if you want to be made to wait an inordinate amount of time for the delivery of cold and unfeasibly disappointing food (with bits missing from the order) then Papa John's Leigh Park is the place for you!

And phoning to request either replacement hot food or a refund will prove to be an exercise in futility. No one will be available to process a refund, replacement food will take over two hours to arrive and you'll be made to feel like its your fault for ordering from them in the first place.

Sadly, Google won't let you leave a negative score otherwise I'd be smashing that -3...
