I read the reviews and wanted to bring my family here for mother's day. I thought maybe it was just an Instagram hyped up aesthetic but it was not. The food was really tasty, big portions, and even aesthetically pleasing. Even with our drinks we were not disappointed it was all really well made. We said we would start with savoury and then maybe get french toast to share but the portion are so big we just could not order anything else. I would love to go back to try their milkshakes and something sweet! My dad had the pink full monty he said it was really nice and different to normal full English. Me and my sister had sourdough toast with poached eggs, my sister going for the eggs benedict with Hollandaise sauce and while I love avocado I went for the smashed avocado with salmon. It was nice but I think maybe there could have been other items that may have given me a new flavour and experience as I felt it was a standard avocado on toast with salmon. My mum had the Mediterranean and really enjoyed it again she felt it was a very different kind of brunch and she was very full. We all ordered some hot drinks and the cups are huge! So if you not awake when you get there by the time you finish that coffee you will definitely be wide awake! It is really quick and efficient service and they are all friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere for...

Unfortunately I ordered sea bass. It was the only thing edible on the plate when it arrived. It was deep fried both sides . It was supposed to come with green beans ( which I would have liked ) but I got a mixture of chopped veg … as I didn’t want potato I was given tinned mushrooms. I have never been given such totally tasteless food. I should have sent the entire plateful back. I complained several times. And I was told they don’t put sauces or flavourings on their food (!!!!!!?????) They quoted diabetics and other people with food allergies. I have neither of those. I’m on a low carb diet so I asked for veg instead of potatoes

Several people came up to me to make excuses. My lunch partner enjoyed her chicken wrap and people next to us had what looked like enjoyable food.

I had to eat something as I felt a bit faint. I hadn’t eaten since the previous day. It was ALL AWFUL and tasteless. The mushrooms and mixed veg must have had a few minutes in the microwave!!

I don’t know why I didn’t send it all back. The fish was edible … the veg and mushrooms had absolutely no flavour. I added salt and pepper to everything. Still awful. I was insulted by their comments about diabetics and people with food allergies neither of which I mentioned.

It was an awful experience. I ate the cold tasteless food , paid and left.

Not...

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Pink Cafe in Borehamwood and felt compelled to share just how impressed I was. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I was immediately greeted by friendly, professional staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The level of customer service was truly exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile.

The quality of the food was equally impressive. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee or sitting down for a full meal, the menu offers something for everyone, and it’s evident that high standards are maintained in both preparation and presentation.

What really stood out to me was the impeccable hygiene throughout the cafe. The cleanliness was noticeable in every corner, from the spotless tables and counters to the pristine kitchen area visible from the counter. I can confidently say hygiene here is a solid 10 out of 10—something that truly sets Pink Cafe apart.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers so well across the board, but Pink Cafe manages to combine outstanding service, delicious food, and exceptional cleanliness all in one. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone...

Revisit. Friday morning was busy. Service was as good as usual. Plating of food was excellent. Very decent breakfast. Acoustics of the place is harsh and hard to have relaxed chat. Still, great food and service. Original review: Pink Cafe is a charming spot in the heart of Borehamwood that consistently delivers on food, service and value. Though the decor is simple, the cafe makes up for it with beautifully presented, delicious dishes spanning breakfast favorites to satisfying mains. Stand-outs (so far for us) include the Pink Full Monty or Mediterranean breakfast, fluffy pancakes, well-prepared coffees and teas. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. The warm, attentive service is the cherry on top. It can get crowded and noisy at peak times, but Pink Cafe seems always a welcoming place to enjoy a tasty meal with friends and family. Ample parking in the shopping park nearby adds to the convenience. In summary, this unassuming cafe is a local gem worth seeking out for its winning combination of lovely food, friendly service and great value.

Lovely cafe, bright and airy inside with some outside seats too. Really good, fast and efficient service. The Pink Full Monty breakfast was spot on, everything cooked right. The Smashed Avocado on Sourdough toast with Salmon was also great. Coffees good too, which is rare around here. Usually, it's milky, weak, and watery coffees in the cafes in Borehamwood but here they were very good, strong coffees. I'd passed this Cafe many time and it always seems to be busy, a good sign for sure. Despite being busy, the service was very quick. You could confidently come here on your lunch break and not be late back to work. There's lots of seating inside, it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Inside is clean and pleasant with modern decor. Overall, I really enjoyed this cafe and would definitely recommend to all. I'll certainly be back very soon!
