Barwell Chef's — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

The customer service at Barwell Chef is severely lacking. I caution against ordering their food through Deliveroo. I placed an order at 10 pm, received no delivery, and encountered complete silence from the restaurant. Despite contacting Deliveroo, they informed me that the restaurant handles its deliveries and provided a number to call directly. Despite numerous attempts, my calls went unanswered. Checking their Google listing revealed a closing time of 11 pm, explaining the lack of response. Deliveroo continuously displayed that my food was being prepared, claiming it was delivered by 1am. However, I never received the food and received no communication from either Deliveroo or Barwell Chef. When I sought a refund from Deliveroo, they claimed inability to assist. Contacting the restaurant resulted in poor treatment over the phone, with the staff asserting their inability to resolve the issue. I paid £15 for a simple meal via Deliveroo and received nothing but abuse from Barwell Chefs and a meager apology from Deliveroo. Steer clear of...

This was my first time ordering from these guys.. unfortunately I will definitely not be returning. After waiting an hour I called for an update, they said the driver was in traffic but he will be 2 minutes. After another 15 minutes I called again, they said he would be 2 minutes. The driver then arrived shortly after. The food was obviously STONE COLD. I called to ask for a refund and they said no as it's not their fault the driver was in traffic which I understand isn't their fault, but as a paying first time customer, I didn't pay £25 for late and cold food and whether it's their fault or not, this isn't the service I paid for. He offered me half off my next order, I told him I obviously wouldn't be ordering again and he refused any refund. If this is how they are with a first time customer, I definitely wouldn't want to be a repeat...

Food fab as always. But maybe address the attitude and rudeness of your delivery drivers. Several times in a row now they have been rude and completely ignorant . We let it slide the first few times but its getting quite horrific. We order from you every week but the service when we speak to your delivery drivers is absolutely appalling. It's really, really shocking. Please sort barwell chefs, because the drivers are letting you down and I can't imagine how many other customers will start going elsewhere if they've experienced...
