Istanbul BBQ — Restaurant in Hinckley and Bosworth

Me and my husband like to order from this Turkish occasionally as we love the food and could not fault it. That was until last night. I ordered chicken shish, my husband ordered lamb. The chicken had a bit of a funny taste, I chose to ignore it and continued eating it anyway. Throughout the night I have had horrendous food poisoning, vomiting every hour. Now that the food is out of my system this morning I am starting to feel a lot better. I am so disappointed as I usually love ordering here but I draw the line at food poisoning and sadly will NOT recommend ordering from here unless you want to throw your money down the drain and make yourself ill. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! The food at IST BBQ is incredible — perfectly grilled, full of flavour, and served fresh and hot. The meats were juicy and tender, and the sides were just as delicious.

The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. The service was fast without ever feeling rushed, and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and perfect for both families and friends.

Absolutely beautiful place. The food was divine and the presentation was stunning. We had a combination meal and lamb kofta, both come with rice, salad and Turkish bread. Our children had Chicken Nuggets and Chicken Shish Kebab, again they were lovely. The staff are amazing, one of the gents understood that our child had SEN and was great with him and played with him whilst we ate (we never asked for this and he just came over to entertain them).
