Cafe Rosso — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Unfortunately having to give a one star review. Been so many times on my commute, it’s nice to have an independent coffee instead of the chain rubbish.

But I walked in to an empty coffee shop, waited at the counter. The older man glanced at me, and carried on pottering around the counter.

Didn’t say hello. Didn’t say ‘one minute and I’ll be with you’. Didn’t acknowledge me at all.

So I walked out. And he watched me walk out.

Not sure what I did when I didn’t even get a chance to order, or say a word; I just waited at the counter for when he was ready.

Consider my business lost.

Replace him with the nice girls who actually talk...

I bought a cappuccino & when I got all the way over onto the platform to board the train to London, I realised that I had been seriously short changed! The cup was NOT full! And by then it was too late to go back & complain! But I WILL have words with them next time! Nice coffee but I got a very short measure so it went fast. Terrible! Make sure you get a FULL cup so ask for it when...

I discovered Rico’s today for the first time and was so impressed. Authentic, proper coffee, tasty toasted sandwiches and fresh baked croissants and a range of baked goods which looked equally tasty, great atmosphere and friendly service. I will go out of my way to visit in future. Honestly don’t wait to use it on the way to the train you are...
