Had an issue late at night Thursday the 15th of September 2025 where my phone had ran out of power and I’d got overwhelmed and stressed out driving around trying to find my partners mothers house with no luck, running late after an already problematic day and knowing my partner would be worrying I was just about at my wits end, but I found this local McDonald’s which I know isn’t far and because I have noticed they have had charging areas in the past I thought I could seek refuge and get myself out of the pickle if got myself into there. Even though the store front was closed the employees “Kai & Celsia” came to my aid and were so friendly, non judgemental, helpful and reassuring it instantly put at ease and made me feel more human.. I was so restful for there kindness. Kai was kind enough to unlock the door and let me charge my phone using there plug sockets which also had indicated USB 2 & 3 ports just to make life even easier! He made me feel very welcome, pleasant and didn’t look down on me at all, he was so understanding and reassuring it really lifted me up and me feel a lot happier. I managed to sort my issue out, called my partner, let her know I was safe and then get directions from my google maps and drove safely to my destination, got a good nights sleep and managed to keep all my commitments the next day with no issues or fatigue. Read moreAfter an emergency NHS call out which finished at 0030 I went to the Huntingdon drive through, I waited 5 minutes to get a response even though no other cars or people about when I got a response I ordered food I was ordered to go to the next window for payment I did this waited a further five minutes but nothing I then saw a lady hang through the second window ushering me forward to her window, I complied with her request once I reached this window she then abruptly informed me "oh there is someone there you'll have to reverse back I said can't you take payment here she replied I haven't got nothing to take payment with I then requested to speak to the manager who after another wait came to the window he said that he's sorry he can't help me the systems down so I wouldn't have been able to take payment anyway so after wasting 20 minutes I left with nothing absolutely disgusted at the managers stained scruffy shirt appearance and arrogance I informed him that all this was recorded and I will be going to face book and also their head office they will see the video and I hope he wasn't lying about the system being down after the way he dealt with the situation nothing would surprise me shame on you Huntingdon you don't deserve to have the McDonald's branding what a joke maybe it was my accent maybe they were racist can't prove it but something stinks with the...
