Well once again items missed off the take away order, rang them up to discuss this only to be told we did not order the items whilst placing the order. When i askdd was he certain, his reply was yes 100%!! And he even said he repeated the order!! Which he did not.

The funny thing is my wife who ordered the food on her mobile phone has call recorder as she kept getting unwanted telesales calls and was advised to record the calls to see if they were from the same company using different number, anyway when I advised the man whom I was talking to, he then said well mistakes happen.

So we went from we were lying as we'd never asked for them and he was 100% and he reconfirmed the order, which he never, to all well mistakes happen.

I wouldn't use this place again after the shocking way we were treated and the curry sauces are a lot thinner almost...

Chutney and poppadoms very nice. Though few of sauces tad runny. Onion baharjis lacked flavour. Basically no seasoning. Same applied to Chicken Samba. Only 1 slice of lemon in dish. Sauce was overly spiced and lacking in flavour. Again due to insufficient seasoning. My friend left his Biryani. Again bland. Two meals. Starter and pickle tray. Came to £48 . Comment could have got a better curry from the shelf of Aldi. Owner more concerned with building a huge magnet . To destroy all mobile phones. Clearly. Not only unable to make a tasty curry. The Mitali has been around for years and one of Accrington town centres favourite curry houses. Since we were last in, it has undergone a complete modernisation and fresh decor. Gone are the old fashioned dining booths and in is a much more modern, open plan, friendlier affair. The place was busy and we hadn't booked but the staff managed to find us a table for 4 within a very short period. The food was good although the draught beer is very limited - just Carling.
