McDonald's — Restaurant in Inshes and Milton of Leys

on the 30th may, 2017, my 11 year old daughter went into macdonalds and placed an order.. as i,m disabled and my mobility is bad,m i was in the car outside... my daughter doesnt like cheese, but she likes a double burger.. after claifying with the assistant, she ordered and paid for 2 double cheese burgers, NO CHEESE, NO RELISH,,, it took 3 attempts .. which they didnt get correct.. she got 2 cheese burgers... we were told by the floor walker in the scarborough (north yorks) branch to order, double cheese burger, NO CHEESE, NO RELISH, in order to get 2 meat pates in a bread bun... on going back in for the third time to complain, the manager intervened.. he accused my daughter of eating the burgers that the staff had left in the bag.. they were actually in my rubbish bag in the car... she does not eat cheese!!! the happy meal had no drink it in.. just a plain burger and chips.. just because shes 11, doesnt give anyone the right to speak to her like she is a con artist.. this is the 4th time we have visited this branch, and 4 times they have got the order wrong... other branches get the order correct.. this is a dispicable way to treat anyone, let alone an 11 year old girl.. she came back to the car crying her eyes out.. get ya staff and/or ya tills sorted.. and i suggest you adopt a much better attitude when dealing with complaints... any complaints, not just from adults... baring in mind that its the 11 year old who wants to visit macdonalds... i prefere KFC!!!! a thoroughly miserable experience.. a disgrace in this day and age.. i gave it one star as it wouldnt let me post without... i actually would give it a minus score... diplorable behaviour...

I really wish it wasn't the case, however, and I dont believe it Is all staff related the vibe in the restaurant is hectic and chaotic.

Drive through you are left waiting at the speaker on drive 2 while car after car goes past drive 1. You are then eventually met by overworked and underappreciated a recipe for disaster you pay for items like for example a diet coke u ask for no ice but still get ice then u go to enjoy you're food no straw etc minor things but I do believe you should get every item you pay for I.e missing burger and yet staff will argue it was definitely put in the bag it's as if the drive through staff are so over worked that there souls have drifted away in someone's happy meal and just left sadness to man the mustard stations. The turn over of staff is concerning and if you arrive after 8 for somthing to eat forget having an enjoyable experience.

My original review from when they opened was amazing food great service. This is sadly no longer true and hasn't been for over a year I had hoped management would have noticed the decline and I could have updated with a new fresh review. As I said the staff need to be appreciated and respected or the customers will simply match there energy and it becomes a horrible place but if customers were welcomed by appreciated happy staff it would be a great experience management seem only intrested in how quickly they can make the staff work fast work mistakes happen unhappy staff well...

Everything is nice and efficient except one of the cleaners who seems a bit judgmental as one time me and my friend went there to get something to eat and I’m someone of color just to clarify, and she told us to leave as we were under 18 and we weren’t allowed after around 5 or 6 pm and we went downstairs to sit as we were waiting for someone to pick us up and there was a whole group of white young girls and this lady came back to us and said in a rude tone that she told us to leave and we said we were waiting to get picked up. Today, we went back and we hadn’t ordered yet and she came up to us and said that we need to order or we would have to leave and my friend said we will order and the lady spoke with even more attitude and said we had been sitting there for 15 minutes, which was a bit unsettling as I was confused on why we were being timed? and then we got up and she told us in a rude manner to go get our trays. None of the other workers have spoken to us in such a way or mentioned anything about under 18s not being allowed after a certain time. Is the policy even true? I will report her as soon as possible for discrimination and general disrespect. Her description: brunette with glasses who works as a cleaner in her late 20’s...
