McDonald's — Restaurant in Ireland

This is, without a doubt, the worst Mcdonalds in Belfast! Been going to this particular Restaurant for about 10 years now and have had to watch it slowly decline in both service and more importantly quality! I used to go here on my way home from work at night about 2 or 3 times a week. But before the refurbishment things were at an all time low so hadn't been back for a while. Went tonight on my way home from work for the first time since the refurbishment hoping that they may have cut some of the dead weight staff before opening again as they clearly weren't cutting it before! Sad to say however as I received my order through the window, I recognised a few familiar faces inside and new things probably hadn't changed too much, and guess what, I was right! I ordered two plain double cheese burgers with onion and they were cremated and cold which was quite the achievement I thought! The night time staff in this particular Restaurant either cook the food ahead of time and reheat it or just simply don't know what they are doing or how to cook. I have only written feedback on two other places before and just felt so compelled to write this because of how tired and angry I am of throwing away my hard earned money. I will NEVER be back to this McDonald's and I urge people to vote with their feet on this and do the same or their standards will never change! This store is a joke! Multiple orders have been missing items and when you call up to see what's going on and all you get is attitude and blaming delivery drivers! Hate to be lied to as I have worked for McDonald's myself and know how orders are expected to be packed to ensure safe delivery. Staff clearly aren't getting adequate training as today my girlfriends order came disassembled in bag missing half the bottom of it causing food to fall out everywhere...absolute disgrace. When she called the store to enquire as to where she could get a refund she was informed that as she had placed the order through the McDonalds app and delivered through uber that she would need to contact Uber as regards her refund but obviously her uber account is different from the mcdonalds app the two aren't even linked for her to do what he's told her...forgot chocolate brownie and straw for the frozen lemonade, job well done? my son is 6. he saw the ‘grimace shake’ tiktok trend in 2023 and every so often we’ve been researching on whether or not this drink would come to our wee country🇪🇺🇨🇮. long and behold, last week we found out that the GRIMACE shake would be here until the sept 3rd. Must’ve been one in 10000 cause he turned 6 on aug 30. we make our way to the mcdonald’s, birthday signs up. promotional items in stock (or so we thought). we eagerly await that sweet creamy grimace-y nectar on our tongues to be met with my worst nightmare. “no longer available” what. on. earth. my son has waited for well over a year for this drink. only to be met with the cold bleak reality of the universe. shame on you mcdonald’s. what’s the point in the celebration if grimace isn’t even there....
