The Diner — Restaurant in Kirby Misperton

Anticipated, me and my friend entered the diner with high hopes. However, upon entering the “restaurant” we were directed towards a dingy, dirty side table which was coupled with flies and layers of dust?! Nevertheless we were starving, prepared to order our meal, well we were … ATROCIOUS, £12 and a whopping £13 for our burger meals. Hesitant, we continued and yet the process was difficult and quite rude as no one came to collect our order and we were forced to get up ourselves? After a reasonable wait, we received our “meals”. DEVASTATED, we looked upon our radioactive meals, comparable to the measly rustlers burgers one microwaves. Stale, cold, bland and simply vile, me and my friend stared in horror, nauseated as we attempted to digest this monstrosity. Terrible experience from the minute we entered the door, got told it was full when clearly half the diner was empty.

When eventually got in we specifically asked for our burgers to be plain, whilst waiting we could hear the chef and the manager moaning about our order and other guests, very rude and unfriendly service.

When food arrived it was all wrong, manager came over with a snotty attitude when I politely asked for a refund, tried to deny me that but then realised he couldn’t and said I would have to wait 20 minutes for one, which I did.

Once given a refund, I had to ask for a receipt which the manager grunted and snarled whilst having to print it off.

All in all terrible atmosphere and experience and would not waste any time or money at this place. Food is also very expensive by the way so just makes the dining experience all the more worse with the...

Just been to flamingoland, this was a very popular choice with my kids. We had dinner one evening and had breakfast on the morning we left. Lools like a typical American diner from the movies, kids loved the decor. Dinner was great, portions were big (nobody could finish their meal they had that much food infrony of them lol) Although a bit pricey you definitely get a lot for you money. Breakfast was great too, portions are good, again pricey but you expect to pay more in places like this. Milkshakes were great made to order and a big hit with the kids. Karen one of the waitress' was amazing with my kids, chatting and having a laugh with them. She went above and beyond and made the experience within the restaurant so much better genuinely an amazing person.
